• I would like to give this book 4.5 stars. The first couple of pages, maybe the first chapter was a bit off-putting for an older person but once I got into the rhythm I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a lovely plot and wonderfully romantic without being overly sentimental or cloying. The end was not as I expected but just the way it had to be. I think Ms. Collins has a future in story-telling. She may never write the Great American Novel but she knows how to write a Very Enjoyable Read.
• This book, this story . . . it's as though it captures the most abstract beauty love has to offer and paints it across your heart as you read. And as you become the canvas for each new line, you melt into the characters and come alive in their world. I long for Cassandra and Lawrence, ache for their love. And they way it's expressed . . . the descriptions, the language of this book, dazzling. You won't find more beautifully written prose in all the stacks of young adult literature today. The only thing I regret is that it had to come to an end.

• Romance, mystery, time travel...this one was different than other time travel romances I’ve read. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. The romance was both sweet and passionate. I didn’t want it to end but couldn’t put it down until I reached the last page. And that ending. It made me *sigh* and want to cry at the same time.
• Great read! Time travel from a different perspective. I love that you can feel the emotions run through the characters! This book is for the lovers of falling in love with a little mystery involved! You must give this book a go!!!
• Cassandra is bored with her summer vacation, until one night when she meets a mysterious boy on the beach. He's cute, charming, and from 1925. Now, the summer just became more interesting. This is a sweet summer romance with a nice twist.
• I bought this on a whim and the truth is, I was (and always am) skeptical about gooey romance stories - I mean, another romance, haven't we done this before - how good can it be? Well it was INCREDIBLE!!! I seriously loved this book. It was fresh and witty and the characters feel very real. The story line has just enough magic to transport you, but leaves you wondering who you might meet out on the beach someday ;) I don't want to give away too much of the story, but lets just say READ IT! I don't usually "review" things - but this was review worthy. Buy it and I promise you'll be up all night! LOVE!
• I truly loved this book. I read a few novels a week. I started this yesterday and couldn't put it down. And unlike most books lately, I found no typos or poor grammar, etc. But I truly loved the story. For once an author can write something clean and folks love it. Too many books have too descriptive sex scenes, too much nasty language that leave one to question if the characters could truly love each other. It didn't have a hint of any hidden agenda belonging to the author. And no token unnecessary characters to appease those who apparently lately think you must have at least one homosexual to make readers happy. All of which is unnecessary to me. A great writer simply writes a great story and doesn't fill a book with uselessness just to sell it. I highly suggest reading this one. I'll even let my 13 year old read this one.
